Workers Rights: Companies
Go Public With Rights Audits
Seven major shoe and clothing companies voluntarily released,
and posted on the Internet, independent audits that examine working
conditions in factories that produce their goods this week. The

intervention the Eastern Congo could turn into “another
Rwanda.”

held last year, has been using increasingly draconian measures
to maintain his grip on power there. LCHR urged the G8 to address
the situation at their June summit this week in France. More»
