Joined the Lawyers Committee in 2002
As Legislative Counsel for the Lawyers Committee, Cory lobbies Congress
and the Administration on an array of human rights issues including:
refugees, the International Criminal Court and international justice,
workers’ rights, and issues related to human rights and civil
liberties in the aftermath of September 11th.
Prior to joining the Lawyers Committee, Cory worked as a Policy
Analyst at the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights (LCCR) and
the Leadership Conference Education Fund (LCEF) where he worked
on equity in access to technology, judicial and executive branch
nominations, electoral reform, and racial profiling.
Cory received his B.A. from Florida State University in 1994. He
holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law (2000)
and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the
Federal Communications Bar Association. |
