The 2003 Summer Associate Reception was held on June 17, 2025 at Ellis Island.

Each year, more than 700 summer associates from over 60 law firms attend the reception, which includes a private viewing of the Ellis Island Immigration Museum and an introduction to the Lawyers Committee for Human Rights. Many of New York’s top firms feature this event in their summer recruitment schedules because it demonstrates to prospective associates a commitment to providing meaningful pro bono opportunities. It also introduces summer associates to pro bono projects in the field of human rights and asylum representation.

For more information on this event, please contact Toral Patel at 212 845 5262 or patelt@lchr.org.
